Organics
A coating is a material that is deposited on the surface of an object, usually referred to as substrate. In many cases coatings are made to improve certain properties or qualities of the surface of the substrate, such as appearance, adhesion, wetting characteristics, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and scratch resistance, among many others.
Organic coatings, polymers and resins are produced in natural or synthetic form, usually formulated to be applied as liquids or dry cured as thin films on surfaces of the substrate materials.
